HRH Mallam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, Emir of Zazzau was born on the 8th of June, 1966 to the family of late Nuhu Bamalli, CFR, Magajin Garin Zazzau, and Nigerian Foreign Affairs Minister in the first Republic. He hailed from the Mallawa Dynasty, and also a direct descendant of Mallam Musa, the first Fulani Emir of Zazzau 1804-1821.

His Highness studied Law at the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (ABU) between 1986 -1989. He had his Master’s Degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the same University. In 1998, he obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from ESUT Business School in Lagos. He studied fellowship on Conflict Resolution and became a Senior Chevening Fellow from the University of York (UK) in 2009. His Highness was at the Harvard Business School in 2011 where he had his GMP – General Management Programme that qualified him to be an Alumnus of the Harvard Business School. In addition, he obtained a Diploma in Organisational Leadership from Oxford University (UK) in 2015. Among other accomplishments, he was appointed Magajin Garin Zazzau in 2001, second most Senior Princely title of Zazzau Emirate after the demise of his father, Nuhu Bamalli. His Highness was crowned 20 years after as the 19th Fulani Emir of Zazzau on the 7th October, 2020, he succeeded late Shehu Idris, Emir of Zazzau.

Bldr. Lawal Aliyu Magaji was born on the 17th day of June, 1972, He attended LEA primary school U/sarki Kaduna and Rimi College Kaduna for his primary and secondary schools respectively. An alumnus of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria where he obtained his first degree BSc. Building in the year 2000. In addition he attended several professional development training programs in and outside the country including an FMP (facility management professional) certification obtained from International Facility management Association based in Houston, USA and Masters in Business Administration MBA from Baze University Abuja.

He served the mandatory NYSC with defunct Africa international Bank Sokoto Branch in 2001 and joined the services of Abid Engineering services a Kaduna based civil engineering firm where he worked on projects such as ; commercial and residential projects between Kaduna and Zaria, construction of dyke , main drain and river diversion project at Zauro dam in Birnin Kebbi , Kebbi state and erosion control and mitigation projects under the ecological funds office of the Federal Ministry of Special Duties between Sokoto , Zamfara and Kebbi states. He had a brief stint in the Academia as a lecturer in the School of Engineering, Building Department, and Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Zaria.

Bldr. Muhammed Tuga Bawa was born on 20th March 1961 in Kutigi Niger State of Nigeria, to the family of Late Alhaji Mamudu Bawa (Garkuwan Nupe). Education: He had his primary school education at Central Primary School, Azare, Bauchi Teachers’ College Demonstration Primary School, Bauchi and Turaki Primary School, Sokoto. He attended Federal Government College, Sokoto (1973-1978) and proceeded to School of Basic studies (1978-1979). He earned Bachelor of Science degree at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in Kaduna State in 1983. Bldr. MT Bawa was at Bayero University, Kano and obtained a Master of Engineering Degree in Structures in 2010.

Adamu Magaji is a professional with 20 years of working experience in large global and regional technology industries and has been involved in project management from feasibility to commissioning and stabilization, strategic planning and execution, emerging technology design, planning and integration, process, policy and procedure development and risk management. He has worked with multicultural teams and held several Senior Management roles in different companies.

Engr. Adamu Magaji holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Bayero University Kano, Masters in Telecommunication Engineering from Birmingham City University UK, Masters in International Affairs and Diplomacy from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and PhD in Peace and Conflict Studies from Federal University Lokoja. Adamu also attended Harvard University Boston Massachusetts USA and Rutgers University New Jersey USA Senior management programs.
